The event
iMotion was challenged by Event Point to organize the first event of events, in a face-to-face format: REINVENT the Event, a day entirely dedicated to the people working in the events industry.
What was initially envisioned as a simple event in an auditorium for around 300 people turned into a robust event with over 900 registrants, an auditorium hosting more than 600 attendees, parallel sessions using silent room systems, partner pitches, a significant exhibition area, and an award ceremony that highlighted individuals. More than just events, the The Eventeers Awards celebrated the individuals who stood out in various categories: New Talent, Technology, Art, Ingenuity, Inspiration, and the Event Point Editorial Award.
Angelina Castel-Branco, partner at iMotion Events, Cláudia Lopes, partner at MUD.E, and Pedro Rodrigues, general director of Desafio Global, served as curators for REINVENT the Event.
Jorge Ferreira, CEO of Best Events, Rita Barradas from Think Out Loud, and Vasco Noronha, general director of Factor Chave, curated the parallel sessions.
The event was moderated by journalist João Moleira and consultant Susana Esteves Pinto.
Endless Evolution was the theme for this event, reminding us that the world has changed and that events are in constant evolution.
The sector’s development over the years, along with some transformations and experiences we’ve all witnessed and lived through in events, set the tone for the opening of Reinvent the Event – Endless Evolution.
This event was only possible thanks to the support of numerous companies in the industry that came together to make it a great success.
And the cherry on top was the prestigious 1st place award in the B2B Category, which iMotion Events earned for organizing this event at the renowned Revolution Awards, held in Lithuania. The Revolution Awards honor groundbreaking ideas and trends in the events industry, recognizing excellence in creativity and innovation.
Angelina Castel-Branco, partner at iMotion, João Pereira, Creative Director at iMotion, Bárbara Barbosa, Event Manager at iMotion, and Cláudia Coutinho from Event Point traveled to Vilnius to defend and receive the award.
